/my notes on De Kooning. /used to debate 'Willem De Kooning' with Lucía and María. /his black abstract paintings were all black because he had no money to buy color paint. /he wanted to destroy his painting 'woman I', but an Art critic convinced him not to (the canvas was already dismounted, ready to go). /see the story on the 'Erased de Kooning Drawing' by Rauschenberg... vandalism or poetry?

/my notes on Pollock. /used to debate 'Jackson Pollock' with Lucía and María. /he once asked his wife Lee Krasner, not if a painting was good or bad, but if it was a painting (so conscious he was at the limit). /when he married Krasner, Peggy Guggenheim was supposed to be the witness but she never came, so the witness was the cleaning lady. /impossible maps.
